This sterling microbrewery is great if you want to try a variety of their craft beers as they offer creative sampling paddles aka taster flights. A simple microbrewery, Brassneck’s offering is not extensive and that is by design. They like to keep things simple with their basic menu of growlers, tastings and kegs. The great thing about Brassneck Brewery is that they do not have any bottles or cans. A must-try is one of their hazy IPAs or a dry-hopped sour!
33 Acres started out as a microbrewery in 2013 but has now become a great place to enjoy delicious food as well. It has a friendly, family atmosphere and even features food trucks outside for the very hungry! This doesn’t mean that the beer is mediocre (anything but!) because they are famous for their ‘33 Acres of Sunshine’ brew which is a blonde, hazy beer with notes of citrus. Visit them during the summer months and enjoy a table outdoors!
There is no better place for a Vancouver microbrewery than in the historic Brewery Creek district! This is where Mainstreet Brewing is located and it is in one of the city’s rare industrial heritage buildings. Mainstreet Brewing is great for couples and families and it is extremely popular for its amazing brewery tasting lounge where you can try their high quality brews and some delicious wings or tacos! Tasting the Main Street Pilsner blend is essential when visiting Mainstreet Brewing - you will definitely not be disappointed!
Do you feel like kicking back and relaxing at a comfortable place where the ambiance is chilled and the beers are top notch? Then, head on over to Faculty Brewing! This microbrewery has an unassuming exterior and inside decor but this is probably because of the old industrial area in which it is situated. Do not be fooled by the hole-in-the-wall appearance, though, because you will love any of their four home-brewed blends. Folks love their velvety 710 Oaked Stout and their famous 408 Chinook Pale Ale which feels like pure gold sliding down your throat!
Luppolo Brewing is definitely one of Vancouver’s best kept secrets when it comes to great-tasting beer! People come to Luppolo from far and wide to sample their dry and refreshing IPAs. They have an excellent selection of fresh hops, IPAs, cider, sour beer and stout and everyone in a large group will find something they like. Unsure of what you should get? Their friendly wait staff are always happy to give a good recommendation!
Black Kettle Brewery is a wonderful place to chill out with friends and great beer. They have an in-house piano and invite guests to tinkle on it for fun. In terms of beer, their dark brown ales and IPAs come highly recommended!
If you are a fan of craft beers, you will no doubt have heard of Gypsy Tears! This is the brainchild of Parallel 49 but they certainly have no shortage of options to choose from. In fact, they boast a whopping 40 taps, so you may have to spend a little time in selecting your favorite! They also have a well-stocked beer store where you can buy your favorite Parallel 49 beers or get your hands on some limited edition brews! It is not difficult to see why Parallel 49 is one of the best microbreweries in the area!
