5 Best Craft Drinks in the Sea to Sky

The Sea to Sky Corridor has become of a hub for new craft locations. Saying that we set out to find the best 5 craft drinks the Sea to Sky Corridor has to offer! Throughout visiting all the listed locations it was so nice to chat with the owners and hear the love they give each other. The support and excitement they all get from seeing other business open is awesome. It was also great to see breweries and cider houses keeping one of their taps open for their neighbours product!

Gillespies

Gillespies

A true mom and pop start up! This cozy unique distillery has some of the best ambiance in the Sea to Sky Corridor. With throw rugs and comfortable couches, you feel like you’ve walked back in time to a living room you might have experienced in the 1950’s.  With couch service and an always creative menu Gillespies is an experience that you have to experience.  Gillespies prides itself on using 100% BC grown grains and fruits, everything is hand crafted right down to the bottling process.  If you want to impress a first date or show off to your friends this is the places. Just make sure you check their times online first!

Recommended Drink: Negroni

Mix equal parts Sin Gin, Campari, Red Vermouth
Pour into a rocks glass over ice
Add a large, fresh orange twist

North Yard Cider:

Opening in 2018 North Yards was the first Cider spot in the little town of Squamish BC. With a bright fresh tasting room it heightens the colours of the drink and food. All ciders are made with BC apples, North Yards presses their apples and then ferments the juice.

A definite MUST are their cider cocktails, these fun and fresh flavours pare perfectly with any occasion.

History coming alive! The Beer farmers have a charming story deeply seeded in the Pemberton community. Get ready to be impressed by this back story:

A young Scots man 16 years of age left his home in 1895 to pursue a farm in the remote valley of Pemberton BC, talk about ambitious!

This family business is on its 4th generation of organic farming land.  So you can imagine that this rich land translates directly into the taste of the beer. If you can’t imagine it, you will just have to try it to believe it.

Recommended Drink: City Sicker IPA 7.2%

 A classic west coast IPA, piney yet smooth. High in alcohol and caramel in colour.

A traditional west coast tasting room with local artwork decorating the walls.  This small in tasting room size is a cozy spot to rest your feet and have your taste buds blown.  Be sure you get in before 5PM as it is a local hot spot as the 30 seater tasting room fills up quick. Standing room is always an option too!

 

Recommended Drink: Musical Bumps Sour IPA 6%

A nice tart beer for those who like a little punch to their IPA with a juicy finish! It is a must try in the Sea To Sky Corridor

This larger than life tasting room situated in Squamish BC is the perfect pit stop at the end of your activity day.  People are usually wearing the seasonal outer wear as they get in the door.  Ordering thin crust pizza’s and fueling up on BEER! Creating a cabin style tasting room with high ceilings and taxidermied animals.  It is a funky spot to hangout in.

Recommended Drink: Ferris Brewer’s Day Off 6.5%

This is a Coriander and Citra IPA packs a lot of unique flavours and a lot of punch!
